Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and recipe execution
- Ability to work full-time with flexible schedule including nights and weekends
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Adherence to all health and safety standards including OSHA and HACCP
- Manual dexterity and ability to handle various physical demands such as reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, and exposure to hot and cold conditions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in a line cook or similar kitchen role
- Strong culinary skills with knowledge of recipe execution
- Knowledge of OSHA, HACCP, and local health and safety regulations
- Ability to work flexible shifts including days, evenings, and weekends
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to handle fast-paced and high-pressure kitchen environments
- Positive attitude with strong customer service orientation
Job Duties
- Maintain a good image of the company and help create a positive dining experience through teamwork and service
- Ensure the company serves a quality menu
- Respond to all guest complaints timely and take appropriate actions to ensure a positive experience
- Execute the highest standards of OSHA, HACCP, local health and safety codes, and company policies
- Ensure all sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas
- Demonstrate strong culinary skills in food preparation and recipe execution
- Collaborate with managers and front-of-house staff to meet sales and food cost targets
