Job Duties
- Acknowledge all customers entering and exiting the store
- provide the highest quality of interactions with customers being pleasant, friendly, and polite
- prepare food items per established recipes and menus maintaining freshness, quality, and nutritional value
- thank customers in a thoughtful manner
- respond quickly and respectfully to customer complaints and notify management
- use suggestive selling techniques to increase customer satisfaction
- maintain safe, tidy, and organized work environment
- store food items following established standards including labeling and dating
- communicate effectively with supervisors about kitchen operations
- monitor kitchen equipment and report discrepancies
- utilize safe food handling techniques
- gain thorough knowledge of menu items and pricing
- support other staff to ensure kitchen functions are performed properly
- maintain inventory of food items and tools
- obtain knowledge of pie-line, oven expediting, and cutting counter procedures
- perform duties assigned by management
- complete all cleaning and prep work
- maintain a positive attitude
- perform additional assignments as required
- be physically able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
