Job Requirements
- Must be 16 or older
- physical ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds
- able to stand for extended periods
- attendance at work is required
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- ability to communicate politely and efficiently with customers and team members
- ability to follow safety and hygiene standards strictly
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior food service or kitchen experience helpful but not required
- ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- excellent communication skills
- basic math skills for handling orders and money
- ability to follow directions and take constructive criticism
- understanding of safe food handling practices
Job Duties
- Acknowledge all customers entering and exiting the store
- provide the highest quality of interactions with customers - be pleasant, friendly, and polite to everyone
- prepare food items per established recipes and menus in a way that preserves food freshness, quality, appeal, and meet nutritional value
- display appreciation of customers by thanking them thoughtfully
- respond quickly and respectfully to customer complaints and notify person in charge immediately
- make appropriate suggestions to customers orders using suggestive selling techniques
- acknowledge customers at carryout counter and respond to their needs promptly
