Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in food and beverage events preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Creativity and knowledge of food and beverage/events
  • Professional selling skills including opening, probing, supporting, and closing
  • Valid driver’s license for the applicable state
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer use
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently
  • Effective presentation skills

Job Duties

  • Drive catering and food and beverage sales to meet revenue goals
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and meeting planners
  • Oversee the preparation and delivery of event orders confirming accuracy and timeliness
  • Monitor market trends to bring innovative ideas to the hotel’s event offerings
  • Collaborate with directors of sales and catering to coordinate events and strategies
  • Communicate effectively changes and updates regarding events to all relevant parties
  • Participate in hotel meetings and contribute to overall smooth operations
