Job Requirements
- Must participate in CAE’s DOT Drug & Alcohol testing program
- Authorized to live/work in the United States
- Able to sit in confined spaces for 4-6 hours with limited breaks
- Able to stand for extended periods of time (up to 10 hours) with limited breaks
- Physical dexterity requiring hand/eye coordination and fine motor skills
- Ability to stoop, climb, twist, and turn
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience as a pilot with relevant certifications
Job Qualifications
- Hold or meets qualifications to receive an unrestricted ATP certificate and a minimum of one unrestricted PIC Type Rating
- Strong communication skills and a passion for teaching others
- Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and internet-based programs
- Ability to tailor training sessions to diverse customer needs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service
- Keen attention to detail with record-keeping capabilities
- Experience flying business aircraft is a plus
Job Duties
- Provides simulator/flight or classroom instruction on one or more aircraft types as assigned for the issue of licenses, type ratings, internal training, certificates, and pilot qualifications
- Responsible for conducting pre and post flight simulator briefings in a thorough, professional manner in accordance with CAE standards
- Completes required administrative duties including training records, recommending remedial training when necessary, and tracking instructional qualifications and activity
- Acts as a subject matter expert (SME) in the creation of curricula and courseware when required
- Leads clients through their training as a subject matter expert, ensuring mastery and confidence
- Maintains accurate and timely records in compliance with CAE and FAA policies
- Participates in ongoing professional development and training as required
