Job Requirements
- Availability to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays from 8:00AM to 8:30PM
- Availability to work summer camp program shifts from 7:30AM to 5:00PM
- Ability to supervise children ages six months to 12 years
- Knowledge of center emergency and safety protocols
- Ability to enforce rules and maintain discipline
- Willingness to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Ability to follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment
- Background check clearance as applicable
Job Qualifications
- Adult and pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Experience working with children in daycare, teaching, coaching, playground, or recreational settings preferred
Job Duties
- Supervise children in the Kidstyles area and during special programs
- Organize and conduct activities in Kidstyles, on the Rock Wall, and during camps, parties, rentals, and gymnasium activities
- Enforce center and department rules, regulations, and policies including safety and hygiene protocols
- Maintain order and discipline using appropriate behavior management techniques
- Prepare activity areas and materials prior to the start of programs or shifts
- Perform daily record keeping, monetary transactions, and cleaning duties
- Promote department programs by building relationships with children and families
