Job Requirements

  • Availability to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays from 8:00AM to 8:30PM
  • Availability to work summer camp program shifts from 7:30AM to 5:00PM
  • Ability to supervise children ages six months to 12 years
  • Knowledge of center emergency and safety protocols
  • Ability to enforce rules and maintain discipline
  • Willingness to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
  • Ability to follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment
  • Background check clearance as applicable

Job Qualifications

  • Adult and pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Experience working with children in daycare, teaching, coaching, playground, or recreational settings preferred

Job Duties

  • Supervise children in the Kidstyles area and during special programs
  • Organize and conduct activities in Kidstyles, on the Rock Wall, and during camps, parties, rentals, and gymnasium activities
  • Enforce center and department rules, regulations, and policies including safety and hygiene protocols
  • Maintain order and discipline using appropriate behavior management techniques
  • Prepare activity areas and materials prior to the start of programs or shifts
  • Perform daily record keeping, monetary transactions, and cleaning duties
  • Promote department programs by building relationships with children and families
