Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work 15 hours per week, including afternoons and early evenings
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Willingness to cross-train in both food and beverage and front desk functions
  • Reliable, punctual, and customer-service oriented
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to food service
  • Must maintain health and safety standards in food preparation areas

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of hotel accommodations, community, and hotel services
  • Warm and friendly manner in communicating with guests
  • Ability to speak and receive direction in English, both written and verbal
  • Ability to conduct accurate inventory of food items and calculate order levels
  • Strong interpersonal skills and positive attitude
  • Previous experience in food and beverage or guest services preferred

Job Duties

  • Oversee the 5:30 Kickback for guests through food preparation and clean-up
  • Ensure the kitchen and lobby areas are clean and well organized
  • Maintain food safety standards and monitor inventory levels to keep supplies adequately stocked
  • Provide friendly and courteous guest service with a +1 Service attitude
  • Answer guest questions using knowledge of the hotel, community, and local events
  • Promote the Drury culture of integrity, service, and hospitality to customers and coworkers
