Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Culinary Institute or University
- Ability to communicate in English with guests, co-workers, and management
- Basic computer skills
- Adherence to Kiawah Island Golf Resort appearance standards
- Availability for the 2026 externship program duration
- Ability to comply with resort policies and procedures

- Currently enrolled in an accredited Culinary Institute or University
- Ability to communicate effectively in English with guests, co-workers, and management
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to adhere to Kiawah Island Golf Resort appearance standards
- Strong passion for culinary arts or baking and pastry
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
Job Duties
- Prepare and assist in the creation of menu items in culinary or pastry departments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen areas
- Follow safety and sanitation guidelines in food preparation
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service
- Participate in training sessions and continually improve culinary skills
- Assist in inventory management and ingredient preparation
- Shadow other departments to gain broader understanding of resort operations
