Job Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Kalispel Work Permit
- Valid driver's license and possession while operating a tribal vehicle
- Washington State health card by date of hire
- Hepatitis A vaccination by date of hire
- MAST permit within 90 days of hire or the first class offered
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to lift and move objects up to 75 pounds
- Ability to communicate effectively in noisy and fast-paced environments
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Effective listening and communication skills
- Ability to maintain working relationships with department heads and employees
- Skillful in handling workplace problems including anticipating and solving issues
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Experience in hospitality or event coordination preferred
- Knowledge of MAST guidelines and food and wine service
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- Willingness to attend training meetings
Job Duties
- Ensure compliance with the Kalispel Tribe of Indians internal controls and Northern Quest Casino policies and procedures
- Provide constant, attentive and friendly service to all guests and greet guests in an appropriate manner
- Serve beverages according to MAST guidelines
- Assist special event team members including servers, bartenders, set-up porters, cocktail servers, ushers, and beverage porters to ensure superior guest service
- Review the client's needs or special requests to deliver a flawless performance while maintaining high standards
- Complete all side work in a timely and satisfactory manner to ensure a clean, neat work area with adequate supply levels
- Perform necessary paper and bookwork correctly at shift's end
- Relay any complaints, problems or positive remarks to shift supervisor
- Attend all training meetings
- Keep storage areas clean and organized and ensure equipment is cleaned properly and stored securely
- Maintain a good attendance record
- Execute multiple tasks simultaneously while staying focused and organized
- Coordinate special arrangements and needs with appropriate departments
- Possess knowledge of food and wine for training service
- Help organize clearing stations and back of house
- Work with culinary team to set buffet tables and food displays
- Inspect room ambiance to meet client needs
- Ensure tables are set according to KGCC standards and client requirements
- Meet and greet clients during their events in the absence of supervisor or manager
- Follow KGCC procedures for room control related to guest conduct and alcohol use
