Job Requirements
- A minimum education level of ba/bs degree (4-year)
- A minimum of 5 years of related work experience
- Must be highly organized and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, resolving conflicts as necessary
- Must exhibit excellent leadership, problem-solving and communication skills
- Must be able to handle highly sensitive and confidential information
- Must be able to work events, multiple shifts, long hours, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must be able to move about quickly throughout arena
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- Minimum of 5 years related work experience
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities
- Problem-solving skills for managing event issues
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Experience working in event-related roles
- Knowledge of venue operations and event production
Job Duties
- Serve as primary on-site point of contact for event execution
- Develop understanding of department policies and coordinate event planning
- Communicate with departments to inform staff of event needs
- Patrol and inspect venue for readiness before events
- Manage issues during events to ensure client service
- Enforce venue rules, policies, and contractual obligations
- Collaborate with University of Louisville for NCAA games planning
- Develop CAD drawings for ticketed events with box office and production teams
- Collaborate with finance to estimate production costs
- Review and follow up on MOD report incident notes
- Coordinate first aid staffing for events
- Create and submit staffing plans timely
- Present event cost estimates to finance and general manager
- Serve as escalation point for guest inquiries and complaints
- Enforce venue security policies and procedures
- Provide training and support to guest services and security staff
