Job Requirements
- A minimum education level of ba/bs degree
- A minimum of 5 years of related work experience
- Must be highly organized and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Must exhibit excellent leadership, problem-solving and communication skills
- Must be able to handle highly sensitive and confidential information
- Must be able to work events, multiple shifts, long hours, weekends and holidays as needed
- Must be able to move about quickly throughout arena
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 5 years related experience in event management or guest services
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Experience coordinating multi-departmental teams
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with venue operations and emergency procedures
Job Duties
- Serve as primary on-site point of contact for venue to ensure successful event execution
- Develop understanding of departmental policies to coordinate event planning
- Communicate with departments to inform staff of event needs and updates
- Patrol and inspect venue for readiness, taking corrective actions as needed
- Manage issues during events to guarantee excellent client service
- Collaborate with University of Louisville to plan NCAA game operations
- Work with Box Office and production teams on CAD drawings for ticketed events
- Coordinate with finance to estimate production costs
- Compile and review MOD reports following events
- Assign first aid staffing based on event needs
- Create and submit staffing plans for event operations
- Present event cost estimates to finance and management
- Serve as escalation point for guest inquiries and complaints
- Enforce security policies ensuring safety and proper documentation
- Provide training and guidance to guest services and security staff
