Job Requirements
- Mobility during entire shift
- must stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to four hours
- capable of using knives and food preparation equipment
- able to safely reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds
- able to work in wet floors, temperature extremes, and loud noise
- able to respond in emergency situations
- able to work entire shift aside from breaks
- finger and hand dexterity
- must come to work when scheduled or provide appropriate notice

Job Qualifications
- Reading, writing, basic math, and verbal communication skills
- ability to speak clearly and listen attentively
- capable of using POS and back office computer systems
- certified trainer in FOH or BOH positions
- leadership qualities among hourly employees
- ability to obtain District Manager/Market President approval
Job Duties
- Ensure prompt, friendly service according to company guidelines
- foster a culture aligned with Flynn - Applebee's Premier Card of Values and Beliefs
- ensure product preparation and presentation meet company standards
- receive products to check freshness and invoice accuracy
- refer verbal and guest complaints to the manager on duty
- correct unsafe practices or conditions
- promote cleanliness and sanitation on a clean-as-you-go basis
- advise manager on duty of non-routine situations
- complete all assignments promptly and properly
- communicate with managers through logs and meetings
- demonstrate proper execution of training systems
- assure compliance with company policies
- act as coach to employees
- maintain and control company assets
- comply with cash handling procedures
- administer unit keys per shift
- assist management with line checks and control duties
- develop goals and action plans for personal/professional growth
- provide a role model for employees
- display passion for service and encourage staff
- exhibit a professional image
- learn employee-training programs
- assess effectiveness of employees and provide feedback
- identify poor performance and communicate to management

- mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
