Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • high school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required
  • minimum of two years experience in hospitality or food and beverage industry required
  • prior experience working as a Bosque Brewing Co server or in a shift leader role required
  • ability to pass Cicerone Certified Beer Server test or possess certification
  • ability to work in fast-paced team environment
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • basic financial handling skills
  • proficiency with POS systems preferred
  • strong attention to detail
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • ability to read and follow instructions and policies
  • professional appearance
  • physical ability to move kegs
  • ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
  • valid New Mexico Alcohol Server License and Food Handler Card required
  • First Aid/CPR certification preferred
  • adherence to company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • high school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
  • minimum of two years experience in hospitality or food and beverage industry
  • preferred experience in brewery or craft beer environment
  • six months experience as a Bosque Brewing Co server or one year as shift leader in high-volume restaurant, bar, or brewery
  • possession or ability to obtain Cicerone Certified Beer Server certification
  • ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • basic financial transaction skills
  • ability to use POS systems, preferably Toast
  • attentive to detail for inventory and data entry
  • ability to follow schedules, SOPs, and policies
  • professional appearance and demeanor
  • capability to move kegs and operate hand trucks
  • flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
  • possession and maintenance of valid New Mexico Alcohol Server License and Food Handler Card
  • preferred First Aid and/or CPR certification

Job Duties

  • Enthusiastically represent the Bosque Brewing Co brand by engaging with guests respectfully and courteously
  • anticipate and respond to guests' needs with urgency and attention to detail
  • maintain up-to-date knowledge of beverages, beer pouring techniques, brewing process, and food menu
  • ensure cleanliness and proper stocking of front-of-house and bar areas
  • greet guests promptly and guide them through their experience
  • check guest identification and refuse service to minors
  • serve beverages and take food orders accurately
  • build positive guest relations to encourage return visits
  • identify intoxication and refuse service when necessary
  • process payments accurately
  • address guest issues efficiently and courteously
  • assist management with training and oversight of front-of-house staff
  • perform opening and closing procedures adhering to SOPs
  • communicate and ensure completion of side work among co-workers
  • manage cash handling processes including counting drawers and settling transactions
  • conduct regular cleaning tasks including bathrooms and beer lines
  • change kegs and update logs
  • perform inventory as assigned
  • handle guest inquiries and to-go orders via phone
  • ensure communication flow between management and staff
  • assist in developing procedural documentation
  • comply with all company and legal policies
  • support coworkers and assist with additional tasks as assigned
