Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic veterinary medical knowledge is desired
- Ability to read and interpret patient charts and treatment sheets
- Proficient safe animal restraint techniques
- Genuinely enjoys working with animals and can handle stressed, ill, or painful pets effectively
- Able to lift and restrain pets of at least 40 pounds
- Able to work on feet most of the day
- Positive attitude and flexibility
- Excellent communication skills

Job Duties
- Ensure the kennel facility is clean and tidy, maintain a professional appearance at all times
- Clean patient cages, runs, dishes, and laundry as needed throughout shift
- Deliver exceptional, compassionate care to patients including walks, bedding changes, providing food and water as indicated
- Understand the importance of a clean and orderly facility and proactively clean or organize
- Recognize and report any patient health concerns to veterinary technician or veterinarian
- Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and assist with customer service tasks as needed
- Assist the Hospital Manager with special projects during down time
