Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years old or older
- One experience bartending required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain and maintain all appropriate certifications per company requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to mix and serve a wide variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle money and make change
- Ability to operate cash register, POS software, dishwashers, and kitchen equipment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to open and close bar and maintain cleanliness
- Ability to distinguish between different denominations of currency
Job Qualifications
- One year experience bartending required
- Two or more years of bartending experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of two years of college preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain all appropriate certifications per company requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to operate cash register, POS software, dishwashers, and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to handle money accurately
- Ability to manage difficult or challenging situations professionally
Job Duties
- Open and close the hotel kitchen and bar following company policies and procedures
- Maintain the food prep and bar area in a clean and organized manner
- Serve and assist guests with a high standard of hospitality and integrity
- Mix and serve a wide variety of drinks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Perform additional duties such as prep cook and cocktail server as needed
- Handle money, make change, and use office machines including cash register and POS software
- Communicate effectively with guests and team members and manage difficult situations professionally
