Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years fine-dining or hotel pastry production experience
- experience with handmade gelatos, sorbets, pastry, custards, and cookies
- high school graduate or vocational training certificate, college degree preferred
- strong knife skills
- ability to read and execute prep lists and POS tickets
- strong communication skills
- punctual and reliable
- ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- ServSafe certified
Job Duties
- Prepare and produce handmade gelatos, sorbets, pastries, custards, and cookies
- maintain quality and consistency of dessert items according to recipes and company standards
- handle high-volume pastry production while ensuring attention to detail
- support service team to meet guest needs and contribute to a positive dining experience
- maintain kitchen cleanliness and follow all safety, sanitation, and food storage procedures
- execute prep lists, par lists, opening and closing procedures efficiently
- demonstrate professionalism and positive attitude in all interactions
