Job Requirements
- Must be able to run, walk, and stand for upwards of 8 hours

Job Duties
- Create a professional and welcoming atmosphere by maintaining proper posture in the motor lobby in view of guests
- Pause and engage each guest entering and exiting the hotel, creating relationships by being curious and knowledgeable about their interests
- Greet guests warmly using their names, extending a genuine welcome and gracious goodbye
- Use proper verbiage with guests and follow all JW Marriott and AHC policies, procedures, and standards
- Pull and park cars swiftly while maintaining cautious speed and running to and from each car to value guests time
- Assist guests with their luggage by loading, unloading, and escorting them to their rooms
- Provide engaging orientation of the hotel and surrounding area
- Ensure the hotel entrance area is clean, organized, and guest-ready at all times
- Maintain consistent communication with other valets, doorman, and departments to ensure timely and flawless guest service
- Complete daily tasks on the shift checklist accurately
- Meet with and pass along any pertinent information to the next shift
- Ensure complete and proper uniform is worn including name tag and griffin pin, and maintain a professional appearance
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of the local area and directions to destinations
- Be aware of and able to expedite hotel safety and security procedures
- Have knowledge of property, hotel staff, and services including hours of operation
- Call taxis for guests as needed
- Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned
