Job Requirements
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours
- Proficient verbal and written communication required
- Proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Related customer service experience preferred
- TIPS certification to be completed within 90 days
- Completion of Great Food/Safe Food training
- Ability to deliver high-level customer service
- Weekend availability
- Ability to handle food and alcohol sales responsibly
- Knowledge of Grand Rapids local area
- Ability to operate Oracle Point of Sale system
- Knowledge of Marriott Bonvoy program
- Maintain grooming standards

Job Duties
- Host and serve food and beverage offerings to guests during morning and nightly service
- Complete TIPS certification within 90 days
- Complete Great Food/Safe Food training to ensure food safety procedures are followed
- Utilize Oracle Point of Sale system to ring in drinks and cash out guest checks
- Handle all guest requests and resolve guest opportunities at first contact
- Recommend local area offerings with working knowledge of Grand Rapids
- Be knowledgeable about hotel rooms, services, and facilities
- Perform all tasks on the AM and PM Concierge Lounge checklist
- Conduct daily training of associates using prepared training materials
- Offer and arrange car rentals, airline and train tickets, office services, beauty services, shopping, restaurant reservations, and other guest requests
- Maintain Marriott Bonvoy program standards by recognizing elite status members
- Ensure compliance with grooming standards and lead by example
- Assist with AYS operations and systems
- Welcome and engage with guests in the Concierge Lounge
- Understand cultural differences to meet guest needs
- Execute Quality Assurance inspections daily with focus on audit
