Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous culinary experience
- Ability to work full-time including weekends
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to multitask and solve problems quickly
- Positive attitude and self-motivated
- Must be able to stand, walk, run frequently, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Must maintain proper uniform
- Willing to assist in other kitchen areas as needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous culinary experience
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to multitask and solve problems quickly
- Solid knife handling skills
- Basic understanding of batch cookery
- Positive attitude and self-motivated nature
- Serve Safe certification preferred
Job Duties
- Oversees and leads the banquet culinary team to ensure quality and cleanliness
- Conducts daily meetings with kitchen staff to discuss organization and operational concerns
- Sets up and executes all banquet kitchen functions
- Manages requisitioning, receiving, and storage of food products in compliance with company standards
- Coordinates with chefs on scheduling, banquet plate preparation, and timely food delivery
- Enforces health department sanitation requirements and proper use of banquet kitchen equipment
- Performs daily banquet facility walkthroughs to ensure cleanliness and organization meets company specifications
