Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous culinary experience
  • Ability to work full-time including weekends
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to multitask and solve problems quickly
  • Positive attitude and self-motivated
  • Must be able to stand, walk, run frequently, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must maintain proper uniform
  • Willing to assist in other kitchen areas as needed

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous culinary experience
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to multitask and solve problems quickly
  • Solid knife handling skills
  • Basic understanding of batch cookery
  • Positive attitude and self-motivated nature
  • Serve Safe certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Oversees and leads the banquet culinary team to ensure quality and cleanliness
  • Conducts daily meetings with kitchen staff to discuss organization and operational concerns
  • Sets up and executes all banquet kitchen functions
  • Manages requisitioning, receiving, and storage of food products in compliance with company standards
  • Coordinates with chefs on scheduling, banquet plate preparation, and timely food delivery
  • Enforces health department sanitation requirements and proper use of banquet kitchen equipment
  • Performs daily banquet facility walkthroughs to ensure cleanliness and organization meets company specifications
