Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • physical strength and stamina to handle demanding manual labor
  • capacity to work in extreme weather conditions
  • availability for variable shifts including nights, weekends, and on-call
  • ability to operate forklifts and other ground equipment
  • good communication skills to coordinate with ground crew and flight team

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • strong background in cargo handling, logistics, or weight and balance
  • ability to operate ground equipment like forklifts
  • good physical fitness and strength
  • attention to detail and safety
  • strong mathematical skills for weight and balance calculations
  • ability to work flexible schedules including night, weekend, and on-call shifts

Job Duties

  • calculate and verify aircraft weight and balance
  • load, secure, and document all cargo in compliance with FAA regulations and company policies
  • operate forklifts and K-loaders to load and unload aircraft
  • supervise and manage loading and unloading operations at remote locations
  • accompany flights in the jump seat as a required crew member
  • inspect cargo including hazardous materials
  • complete final weight and balance paperwork and sign off for flight departure
