Job Requirements

  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
  • Familiarity with cargo handling and logistics
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work in extreme weather and remote locations
  • Willingness to work variable shifts including night and weekend shifts
  • Must comply with FAA regulations and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong background in cargo handling or logistics
  • Experience with weight and balance calculations preferred
  • Ability to operate forklifts and ground loading equipment
  • Strong physical fitness and stamina
  • Attention to detail and safety orientation
  • Ability to work variable schedules including nights, weekends, and on-call periods

Job Duties

  • Calculate and verify weight and balance calculations for aircraft
  • Load and secure cargo according to FAA regulations and company policies
  • Supervise and physically participate in loading and unloading operations
  • Complete and sign weight and balance documentation for flight safety
  • Monitor cargo hold during flight to ensure no shifts or issues
  • Operate or direct ground equipment such as forklifts and K-loaders
  • Manage cargo operations in remote and challenging weather conditions
