Job Requirements

  • Culinary education or equivalent experience
  • minimum 4 years culinary experience
  • experience in kitchen supervision preferred
  • ability to stand and walk for at least 8 hours
  • strong communication skills
  • basic computer skills
  • knowledge of cost control
  • ability to work in a fast paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge and skills in kitchen operations
  • possess strong leadership communication organization and relationship skills
  • a true desire to exceed guest expectations in a fast paced customer service environment
  • capable of producing a consistent product in a timely manner
  • strong training and communication skills
  • 4 years minimal culinary experience
  • kitchen supervisor experience preferred
  • ability to stand walk for a minimum of 8 hours work schedule

Job Duties

  • Preparation of all pastry products as trained in accordance to pastry shop standards
  • assists higher level bakers
  • other duties as assigned by chef
  • practice importance of producing a consistent quality product that meets and exceeds guests needs in a timely manner
  • capable of assuming department responsibilities
  • apply culinary education and knowledge to daily tasks
  • control costs and communicate effectively within the team
