Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a pastry or bakery role preferred
- ability to follow standardized recipes and procedures
- strong attention to detail
- effective communication skills
- capable of working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- willingness to learn and develop skills
- team player mentality
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- preparation of all pastry products as trained in accordance to pastry shop standards
- assists higher level bakers
- other duties as assigned by chef
- practice the importance of producing a consistent, quality product that meets and exceeds the guests' needs in a timely manner
- assumes department responsibilities when capable
- maintains basic understanding of kitchen operation within the hotel
- applies culinary education, cost control, basic communication and leadership skills
- utilizes computer skills as required
