Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum four years of culinary experience
- prior experience in pastry preparation preferred
- strong communication skills
- ability to work in a fast paced environment
- basic computer skills
- ability to stand and walk for long periods
- willingness to work flexible hours
- ability to follow safety and hygiene standards
- team player attitude
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge and skills in kitchen operations
- possess strong leadership, communication, organization and relationship skills
- a true desire to exceed guest expectations in a fast paced customer service environment
- capable of producing a consistent product in a timely manner
- strong training and communication skills
- four years minimal culinary experience
- kitchen supervisor experience preferred
- ability to stand and walk for a minimum of eight hours
Job Duties
- Prepare all pastry products as trained in accordance to pastry shop standards
- assist higher level bakers
- perform other duties as assigned by chef
- maintain consistent quality product that meets and exceeds guest needs
- practice basic kitchen operations within the hotel
- contribute to department training
- assume department responsibilities as needed
