Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of experience in high-volume concessions or quick-service cooking environments
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to lead and motivate kitchen staff under pressure
  • Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and OSHA regulations
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of high-volume cooking experience in concessions, stadiums, arenas, convention centers, theme parks, or similar quick-service environments strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with standardized recipes and portion control
  • Ability to lead a small team in a fast-paced environment
  • ServSafe certification or ability to obtain
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • must be able to work long shifts during major events
  • Culinary degree or formal training preferred but not required - equivalent experience accepted

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily food production for multiple concession outlets, ensuring speed, consistency, and adherence to brand specifications
  • Lead by example on the line - cooking, prepping, and coordinating service during events
  • Maintain product quality, taste, and temperature across all service areas
  • Keep workstations, coolers, and dry storage areas organized, clean, and compliant with health and safety standards
  • Follow and enforce food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe, efficient kitchen environment
  • Support training of kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, food handling, and equipment use
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to leadership in a timely manner
  • Assist with meeting food cost and labor budget goals through proper production and waste control
