Job Requirements

  • Relevant trade qualification or equivalent work experience
  • Several years of experience in a kitchen environment
  • Experience in a hotel kitchen preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and conversational Swedish
  • Ability to build relationships internally and externally
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines

Job Qualifications

  • Several years of experience working in a kitchen environment
  • Experience preferably within a larger hotel
  • Relevant trade qualification from an educational institution or equivalent work experience
  • Understanding of business-focused kitchen management
  • Ability to build internal and external relationships
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Conversational skills in Swedish
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Office, Outlook and time management systems advantageous

Job Duties

  • Create menus that meet and exceed guest expectations
  • Ensure up-to-date knowledge of menu items, special promotions, functions and events
  • Ensure consistent production of high-quality food throughout all hotel food outlets
  • Work aligned with Hilton's sustainability programs
  • Adhere to food control systems and food wastage programs
  • Develop positive guest relations through proactive interaction
  • Assist in training and developing the kitchen team
  • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, health and safety and food safety legislation
  • Follow all standard procedures and policies related to food preparation, receiving, storage and sanitation
  • Work in line with Hilton values
