Job Requirements

  • minimum of two years kitchen experience
  • ability to work 6AM to 4:30PM Tuesday through Friday
  • ability to train and manage kitchen staff
  • knowledge of kitchen stations and operations
  • strong leadership and delegation skills
  • ability to comply with health and safety regulations
  • computer literacy
  • physical ability to work in hot and cold environments

Job Duties

  • train, coach, and develop hourly kitchen staff
  • maintain security and upkeep of kitchen equipment and inventories
  • ensure compliance with state and federal health and safety codes
  • maintain standards for food storage, rotation, quality, and appearance
  • balance quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale
  • manage department priorities as they arise
  • delegate tasks effectively to kitchen personnel
