Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a Junior Sous Chef role or similar culinary position
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and inventory management software
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Effective communication skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand or remain stationary for extended periods
- Comfortable using kitchen equipment and tools safely
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- a degree in culinary arts, hospitality management, or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience in a Junior Sous Chef role, ideally within a restaurant, catering, or hospitality environment
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and inventory management software

- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams

Job Duties
- Prepare and cook meals to meet Kommissary's high-quality standards in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
- Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the culinary team, including scheduling meetings, calendar management, managing correspondence, and maintaining organized documentation
- Design and print labels for inventory, menu items, and food storage, ensuring clarity and organization in the kitchen
- Assist in inputting manufacturing orders into Inflow, monitoring inventory levels, placing orders for supplies, and conducting regular audits to ensure stock accuracy
- Be the technological hands of the chefs - support Executive Chefs to file updates for recipes, ordering sheets, new menus, menu descriptions and recipe files
- Generate reports on unit conversions from recipes, inventory usage, food costs, and operational efficiency to support the culinary team's decision-making processes
- Assist in planning and coordinating culinary events and special projects, managing logistical details to ensure successful execution
