Job Requirements
- valid food handler's permit
- regular and predictable attendance
- ability to work in a dynamic high-energy kitchen environment
Job Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role such as junior sous chef or line cook
- culinary degree or certification preferred
- strong attention to detail
- exceptional communication skills
- ability to multitask effectively
- collaborative team player
Job Duties
- support sous chef and kitchen manager with food preparation
- ensure consistency and quality in all dishes by following signature recipes
- help train and mentor kitchen staff in food safety and preparation techniques
- take a leading role in food safety, temperature control, and quality assurance
- oversee activities of cooks and kitchen staff ensuring efficiency and cleanliness
- assist with inventory management and ordering food products
- contribute to catering and special event food preparation and service
