Job Requirements

  • Valid Food Handler Card
  • Previous experience as Junior Sous Chef or higher
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
  • Ability to maintain and follow recipes, processes and standards
  • Drive and ambition to learn and grow
  • Full ownership of role
  • Valid work authorization in the U.S

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience working as a Junior Sous Chef or higher
  • Excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal
  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
  • Ability to maintain and follow recipes, processes, and standards
  • Drive and ambition to learn and grow within the team
  • Full ownership of your role
  • Possession of valid Food Handler Card
  • Valid documentation to work in the U.S

Job Duties

  • Execute dishes to SUSHI SAMBA standards timely and efficiently
  • Supervise the production of all food items
  • Maintain standards of hygiene and safety throughout the kitchen
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and comply with company procedures
  • Maximize productivity and profitability
  • Set standards and maintain food presentation and quality
  • Liaise with restaurant manager and service staff regarding service issues
