Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Any combination of education, training and/or experience demonstrating ability to perform required duties
  • Previous supervisory experience a plus
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work holidays and weekends
  • Adherence to health and safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to perform required duties demonstrated through education, training or experience
  • Previous supervisory experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Basic understanding of inventory management

Job Duties

  • Train, schedule, coach and support associates ensuring performance meets brand and hotel standards
  • Inspect daily use records with Executive or Sous Chef to ensure accuracy
  • Pull all food needed for daily production from walk-in boxes and utilize leftovers
  • Oversee consistency of cold kitchen preparations to maintain quality and recipe adherence
  • Prepare cold food according to recipes, guidelines and standards
  • Ensure work area maintains proper stock levels based on production sheets and events
  • Keep refrigeration, equipment, storage and work areas clean and compliant with health regulations
  • Select and use only highest standard food items for menu preparation
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices and enforce clean as you go policy
  • Inspect work stations and ensure proper set-up for all meals
  • Prepare daily production charts
  • Attend BEO and other relevant Food & Beverage meetings
  • Attend associate meetings and assist with problem resolution
  • Practice and enforce safe work habits and follow OSHA standards
  • Perform additional duties as requested by management
