Job Requirements

Education level not explicitly stated
1 year experience in IT server administration
Ability to work onsite at a government facility in Washington DC
Authorization for Public Trust background investigation
Coordination with Program Manager and COR for telework
Knowledge of server, platform, and application support
Familiarity with security compliance and patch management
Communication skills to coordinate with development and mobile management teams
Ability to document and create system related operational procedures
Technical skills in Azure, Linux, Windows, VMware, network security, and mobile technologies
Willingness to support government classified systems and environments

Job Qualifications

Junior expertise level
1 year IT server administration experience
Experience with Azure cloud computing
Experience with Linux environments including Red Hat and CentOS
Experience with Windows environments
Experience with VMware environments
Knowledge of network security
Familiarity with mobile applications iOS and Android
Experience with mobile device management
Understanding of integrated and tactical radio networks
Experience with geospatial and mapping caching servers

Job Duties

Maintain server installation and operating system updates
Track, manage and sustain platform server modifications, updates, patches
Provide server and/or platform support for customers
Identify, propose, manage, install, configure, sustain and support third party integrated applications
Manage and maintain all patches to ensure security compliance
Provide technical support for applications, appliances, devices, and troubleshooting
Coordinate with application development and mobile device management teams
Support installations, diagnosis, updates and sustainment of enterprise workstations
Support development of system administration policies and procedures
Create maintenance plans, operational procedures, and program documentation
Integrate platform servers in small teams and mission planning systems
Provide recommendations and support for capability enhancements and approvals
Document newly identified mission capabilities for review
