Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of mandatory 4-8 weeks minimum team training course
- Must be permitted to have the assigned canine live inside employee residence
- Employee residence must be indoor, climate-controlled, and adequate for the canine
- Ability to maintain all job-related certifications and security clearances
- Willingness to operate company vehicle during training
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with cargo screening and canine handling
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in security, handling working dogs, or cargo screening preferred
- Ability to complete 4-8 weeks of team training and certification
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures
- Ability to work with and care for a certified working canine
- Must have or be able to obtain required security clearances
- Ability to operate company vehicles during training
- Good physical condition to perform duties involving cargo handling and canine management
Job Duties
- Participate in CCSP related training to search cargo and identify potential threats
- Conduct authorized representative duties related to X-Ray, physical search, and explosive trace detection as needed
- Perform Junior Handler duties while commanding a trained working dog
- Responsible for maintaining training records
- Responsible for care and maintenance of assigned certified canine
- Ensure the canine living area at the employee's residence meets inspection standards
- Maintain all job-related certifications and required security clearances
- Operate company vehicle during on-site training
- Perform other duties as assigned
