Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience with dogs preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to complete 4-8 weeks of team training and certification
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to maintain a climate-controlled indoor area for the assigned canine
- Must maintain valid security clearances
- Willingness to comply with company policies and operating procedures
- Ability to operate a company vehicle during training
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with or handling dogs preferred
- Ability to pass security clearance requirements
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Willingness to complete required training and certification
Job Duties
- Participate in CCSP related training to search cargo and identify potential threats
- Conduct authorized representative duties related to X-Ray, physical search, and explosive trace detection as needed
- Perform Junior Handler duties while commanding a trained working dog
- Responsible for maintaining training records
- Responsible for maintaining training records, care, and maintenance of assigned certified canine
- Must maintain all job-related certifications and required security clearances
- Must be willing to operate company vehicle during on-site training
- Other duties as assigned
