Job Requirements
- Valid food handler's permit

Job Qualifications
- 2-3 years in a similar role such as junior sous chef or line cook, preferably with experience in Italian cuisine
- Culinary degree or certification preferred

Job Duties
- Support our sous chef and kitchen manager with food preparation, menu execution, and daily kitchen operations
- Ensure consistency and quality in all dishes by following The Sicilian Butcher's signature recipes
- Help train and mentor kitchen staff in food safety, preparation techniques, and best practices
- Take a leading role in food safety, temperature control, and quality assurance
- Oversee activities of cooks and kitchen staff, ensuring an efficient, clean, and productive workspace
- Assist with inventory management, ordering food products, and controlling food costs
- Contribute to catering and special events, supporting seamless food preparation and service
