Job Duties
- Support our sous chef and kitchen manager with food preparation, menu execution, and daily kitchen operations
- ensure consistency and quality in all dishes by following The Sicilian Butcher's signature recipes
- help train and mentor kitchen staff in food safety, preparation techniques, and best practices
- take a leading role in food safety, temperature control, and quality assurance
- oversee activities of cooks and kitchen staff, ensuring an efficient, clean, and productive workspace
- assist with inventory management, ordering food products, and controlling food costs
- contribute to catering and special events, supporting seamless food preparation and service
