Job Requirements
- Ability to continuously lift a minimum of 50 lbs several times per day
- Ability to push wheeled machines weighing 50-600 lbs to/from sales floor
- Ability to prepare foods using produce, machinery, and sharp utensils
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work varied hours
- Ability to climb using a 6-foot step stool
- Visual ability to read instructions for safety compliance
- Ability to work in cold and refrigerated conditions
- Ability to operate computer peripherals
- Good listening and oral/written communication
- Ability to interact effectively with customers
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in product marketing, product demonstrations, or food/beverage/restaurant industry preferred
- Applicable state and local food safety certification or license
- Ability to safely prepare juice and specialty products
- Ability to conduct demonstration and sampling events
- Strong communication skills in English
- Bilingual skills considered an asset based on business necessity
Job Duties
- Properly set up and prepare the area for specialized food products
- Fully read materials accompanying product demonstrations to understand program scope, instructions, production requirements, and compliance
- Follow safety requirements when using equipment such as hot machinery or sharp blades
- Adhere to all safe food handling, preparation, production, packaging, labeling, merchandising, and disposal tasks
- Accurately complete all reporting requirements including online submissions
- Regularly check product event schedules and communications for updates and instructions
- Complete certifications and attend special training sessions as required
- Follow safety and compliance guidelines for machine operation, cleaning, and maintenance
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe work area using proper chemicals and equipment
- Assist teammates with event set-up, clean-up, and kitchen duties when needed
- Conduct food sampling and demonstrations to support business needs
- Follow general set-up and teardown guidelines
