Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food handling or product marketing preferred
- physical ability to lift at least 50 lbs multiple times daily
- able to push wheeled machines weighing 50-600 lbs
- stand for long periods
- work varied hours
- climb using a 6-foot step stool
- read and understand safety instructions
- able to work in cold and hot environments
- follow safety protocols for food and equipment
- able to communicate clearly in English
- willingness to complete required certifications and trainings
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in product marketing, product demonstrations, or in the food, beverage or restaurant industry preferred
- applicable state and local food safety certification or license
- ability to safely and effectively prepare juice and specialty products
- able to conduct demonstrations and sampling events
- able to follow safety and compliance guidelines
- effective communication skills in English
- ability to work collaboratively with a team
Job Duties
- Prepare juice and other specialty products for purchase
- properly set up and prepare the area for specialized food products
- fully read materials accompanying product demonstrations to understand program scope and compliance
- follow safety requirements when using equipment and practice proper lifting techniques
- adhere to all tasks related to safe food handling, preparation, production, packaging, labeling, merchandising and disposal
- complete all reporting requirements accurately including online submissions
- regularly check product event schedule and email for updates and instructions
- complete certifications and attend training sessions as required
- follow guidelines for machine operation, cleaning and maintenance
- maintain a clean, sterile and safe work area
- assist teammates with event setup, cleanup or kitchen duties as needed
- conduct food sampling and demonstrations
- follow general setup and teardown guidelines
