Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in product marketing or food and beverage preparation preferred
- ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. several times per day
- ability to push wheeled machinery weighing 50-600 lbs.
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and work varied hours
- ability to climb a 6-foot step stool when necessary
- visual ability to read instructions for safety and food compliance
- ability to work in cold, refrigerated conditions and with hot equipment
- effective communication skills
- ability to operate computer peripherals
- willingness to adhere to safety practices and use proper cleaning chemicals
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in product marketing, product demonstrations, or food, beverage, or restaurant industry preferred
- ability to safely and effectively prepare juice or other specialty products for purchase
- ability to conduct demonstration and sampling events of other products as needed
- applicable state and local food safety certification or license
Job Duties
- Properly set up and prepare the area for specialized food products
- fully read materials accompanying product demonstrations to understand instructions and production requirements
- follow all safety requirements when using equipment and practice proper lifting techniques
- adhere to all tasks related to safe food handling, preparation, packaging, labeling, merchandising and disposal
- accurately complete all reporting requirements including on-line reporting
- regularly check product event schedules and communications for updates
- complete certifications and attend special training sessions as required
- follow safety and compliance guidelines for machine operation, cleaning, and maintenance
- maintain a clean, sterile and safe work area using proper chemicals and equipment
- assist teammates with event set-up or clean-up and kitchen duties as needed
- conduct food sampling and demonstrations following set-up and teardown guidelines
