Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in product marketing or food service preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs multiple times daily
- Ability to push wheeled equipment weighing between 50-600 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to work varied hours as required
- Ability to climb using a 6 foot step stool
- Ability to read and understand safety instructions
- Ability to work in cold, refrigerated conditions and with hot equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in product marketing, product demonstrations, food, beverage or restaurant industry preferred
- Ability to safely and effectively prepare juice or other specialty products
- Ability to conduct demonstration and sampling events of other products
- Applicable state and local food safety certification or license
Job Duties
- Properly set up and prepare the area for specialized food products
- Read and understand materials accompanying product demonstrations to comprehend program scope, instructions, and production requirements
- Follow all safety requirements when using equipment such as hot machinery or sharp blades
- Practice proper lifting techniques when handling boxes or heavy merchandise
- Adhere to all procedures related to safe food handling, preparation, packaging, labeling, merchandising, and disposal
- Complete all reporting requirements accurately including online submissions
- Regularly monitor product event schedules and communications for updates and instructions
- Complete certifications and attend required training sessions
- Follow safety and compliance guidelines for machine operation, cleaning, and maintenance
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe work environment using appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Assist teammates with event setup, cleanup, or kitchen duties as needed
- Conduct food sampling and demonstrations in support of business needs
- Follow event setup and teardown guidelines
