Job Requirements

Ability to continuously lift a minimum of 50 lbs several times per day
Ability to push wheeled machine with weights ranging from 50 to 600 lbs to and from sales floor
Experience with preparation of foods using produce, machinery and sharp utensils
Ability to stand for extended periods daily
Willingness to work varied hours throughout the day as required
Ability to climb using a 6-foot step stool when necessary
Visual ability to read instructions ensuring safety and compliance
Ability to work in cold, refrigerated and hot equipment environments
Ability to sit, stand, talk, hear and use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, or other peripherals
Ability to listen and understand spoken information and ideas
Ability to read and understand written information and ideas
Communication skills sufficient to convey information clearly
Ability to identify and understand speech and interact with customers

Job Qualifications

Previous experience in product marketing, product demonstrations, or food, beverage, or restaurant industry preferred
Ability to safely and effectively prepare juice or other specialty products for purchase
Ability to conduct demonstration and sampling events of other products as needed
Applicable state and local food safety certification or license

Job Duties

Properly set up and prepare area for specialized food products
Fully read materials accompanying product demonstrations to understand program scope, instructions, production requirements and program compliance
Follow all safety requirements when using equipment such as hot machinery or sharp blades
Adhere to all required tasks related to safe food handling, preparation, production, packaging, labeling, merchandising and disposal
Accurately complete all reporting requirements including online requirements
Regularly check product event schedule, emails for updates, instructions, and supervisor requests
Complete certifications and attend special training sessions
Follow safety and compliance guidelines for machine operation, cleaning and maintenance
Maintain clean, sterile and safe work area using proper cleaning chemicals and equipment
Assist teammates with event set-up, clean-up or kitchen duties
Conduct food sampling and demonstrations supporting business needs
Follow general set-up and teardown guidelines
