Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous relevant experience preferred
- Ability to safely operate food preparation equipment
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs multiple times daily
- Ability to push wheeled machinery weighing between 50-600 lbs
- Ability to climb a 6-foot step stool when necessary
- Ability to work varied hours throughout the day
- Visual ability to read and understand safety instructions
- Ability to work in cold and hot environments
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- English language proficiency
- Ability to interact with customers
- Must comply with all food safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in product marketing, product demonstrations or the food, beverage or restaurant industry preferred
- Ability to safely and effectively prepare juice or other specialty products for purchase
- Ability to conduct demonstration and sampling events as needed
- Applicable state and local food safety certification or license
Job Duties
- Properly set up and prepare the area for specialized food products
- Fully read materials accompanying product demonstrations to understand program scope, instructions, production requirements and compliance
- Follow all safety requirements when using equipment such as hot machinery or sharp blades
- Practice proper lifting techniques when handling boxes or heavy merchandise
- Adhere to tasks and procedures related to safe food handling, preparation, production, packaging, labeling, merchandising and disposal
- Accurately complete all reporting requirements including online documentation
- Regularly check product event schedules, emails, and supervisor requests for updates and instructions
- Complete certifications and attend special training sessions as required
- Follow safety and compliance guidelines for machine operation, cleaning and maintenance
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe work area using proper cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Assist teammates with event set-up, clean-up or kitchen duties as needed
- Conduct food sampling and demonstrations supporting business needs and follow general set-up and teardown guidelines
