Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in product marketing or food, beverage or restaurant industry preferred
- State and local food safety certification or license
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds several times per day
- Ability to push wheeled machines ranging from 50-600 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to work varied hours
- Ability to work in cold and hot environments
- Ability to use 6' step stool
- Ability to read and understand safety and compliance instructions
- Effective communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in product marketing, product demonstrations or in the food, beverage or restaurant industry preferred
- Ability to safely and effectively prepare juice or other specialty products for purchase
- Ability to conduct demonstration and sampling events of other products as needed
- Applicable state and local food safety certification or license
- Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Capable of working varied hours and in different environmental conditions
- Physical ability to lift at least 50 pounds multiple times per day
Job Duties
- Properly set up and prepare the area for specialized food products
- Fully read materials that accompany product demonstrations to understand program scope, instructions, production requirements and program compliance
- Follow all safety requirements when using equipment such as hot machinery or sharp blades
- Practice proper lifting techniques when working with boxes or heavy merchandise
- Adhere to all tasks and procedures related to safe food handling, preparation, production, packaging, labeling, merchandising and disposal
- Accurately complete all reporting requirements including online requirements as required
- Regularly check the product event schedule and email for updates, corporate news, event changes and supervisor requests
- Complete certifications and attend special training sessions as required
- Follow safety and compliance guidelines for machine operation, cleaning and maintenance
- Maintain a clean, sterile and safe work area using proper cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Assist teammates with event set-up, clean-up, or kitchen duties as needed
- Conduct food sampling and demonstrations in support of business needs
- Follow general set-up and teardown guidelines
