Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience preferred in product marketing, product demonstrations, or food, beverage, restaurant industry
- Applicable state and local food safety certification or license
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs continuously several times a day
- Ability to push wheeled machinery weighing 50 to 600 lbs
- Standing for extended periods
- Able to work varied hours as required
- Ability to climb using a 6-foot step stool if necessary
- Visual ability to read instructions for safety and compliance
- Ability to work in cold, refrigerated, and hot environments
- Effective communication skills in English
- Ability to listen, understand, read, and communicate information clearly
- Physical stamina to perform food preparation tasks using produce, machinery and sharp utensils
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in product marketing, product demonstrations, or in the food, beverage, or restaurant industry preferred
- Ability to safely and effectively prepare juice or other specialty products
- Ability to conduct demonstration and sampling events of other products
- Applicable state and local food safety certification or license
- Ability to work varied hours throughout the day
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
Job Duties
- Properly set up and prepare the area for specialized food products
- Fully read materials accompanying product demonstrations to understand program scope, instructions, and compliance
- Follow all safety requirements when using equipment such as hot machinery or sharp blades
- Adhere to all tasks related to safe food handling, preparation, production, packaging, labeling, merchandising, and disposal
- Accurately complete all required reporting including online submissions
- Regularly check product event schedules and emails for updates and supervisor requests
- Complete certifications and attend special training sessions as required
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe work area using proper cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Assist teammates with event setup, clean-up, and kitchen duties
- Conduct food sampling and demonstration events following setup and teardown guidelines
