Job Requirements
- 3+ years of retail management experience in a high-volume environment
- previous ordering and inventory management experience
- intermediate to advanced computer proficiency
- skills to manage financial results including labor, sales, and profit margin
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- basic to intermediate math and computation skills
- ability to speak, read, and understand English
- physical ability to frequently stand and walk, occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, and use various tools and equipment
- willingness to comply with work environment and safety policies
- ability to handle variable working conditions including temperature extremes and exposure to allergens
- ability to perform duties consistent with company policies and values
Job Qualifications

- prior grocery management or food service experience preferred
- previous ordering and inventory management experience

- experience with Excel and inventory software preferred

Job Duties
- Engages the customer in a friendly manner and shares product information
- assists in locating products throughout the store
- manages own time and shifts tasks based on department needs
- works cooperatively and positively with team members

- conserves company resources and adheres to sustainability program
- complies with work and food safety policies
- manages and oversees all areas of the Juice Bar/Bakery department
- prioritizes and delegates tasks and production
- manages department staff including hiring and training
- ensures department is stocked, rotated, and merchandised per standards
- partners with food service manager for stock and event planning
- orders pastry products maintaining inventory and margin goals
- builds displays highlighting featured items
- maintains vendor relationships
- oversees beverage programs for quality
- coordinates slicing, weighing, packaging, and labeling
- handles customer special orders
- receives and inspects merchandise
- stocks and rotates products paying attention to quality and expiration
- maintains back stock organization and cleanliness
- ensures compliance with organic standards
- prepares coffee and beverages per specifications
- plans and analyzes monthly perishable inventory
- shares product and industry knowledge
- manages labor, sales, and margin goals
- coaches staff on inventory management
- troubleshoots equipment issues
- balances administrative tasks and floor presence
- performs other duties as assigned
