Job Requirements
- Must be a high school graduate or have a GED
- Minimum of 1 year mechanical experience, BHS or PBB experience, or pass a mechanical aptitude test
- Ability to work non-traditional schedules including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Must obtain and maintain an airport security badge
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be insurable under company policy
- Must comply with ELS drug and alcohol policy
- Commitment to workplace safety and environmental standards
- Ability to work under potentially dusty, noisy airport terminal conditions using PPE and fall protection
- Must successfully complete all assigned safety training courses
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED
- Minimum 1 year mechanical experience or 1 year BHS or PBB experience, or pass mechanical aptitude test
- Previous airport environment work experience preferred
- Experience with conveyors or passenger boarding bridges preferred
- Ability to accept responsibility and accountability

Job Duties
- Assist with basic maintenance assignments including preventive, routine and emergency maintenance, clearing system jams
- Perform shift inspections, cleaning, and electrical or mechanical adjustments
- Diagnose equipment failures under senior technician guidance
- Read and interpret repair manuals, basic schematics, and supervisors' instructions
- Work in tight or elevated spaces using appropriate PPE and fall protection
- Follow company and federal policies and complete assigned training courses
- Complete work assignment documentation as per procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
- Assist technicians with sweeping, cleaning, greasing
- Complete all safety training as assigned
- Comply with all ELS safety programs, policies and procedures
- Perform additional management-assigned duties as necessary
