Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years culinary experience in a fast-paced kitchen
- Minimum of 2 years in a similar supervisor role managing staff
- High school diploma or equivalent GED
- Ability to maintain health and alcohol regulatory requirements
- Ability to obtain nationally recognized sanitation certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours
- Proficient with computer software such as MS Office
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and be self-directed
Job Qualifications

- Prior culinary education preferred but not required
- Ability to meet health department and alcohol regulations
- Proficient in food preparation methods
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Effective in staff training, evaluation, and motivation
- Skilled in problem solving and decision making
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work independently
- Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to obtain nationally recognized sanitation training
Job Duties
- Assist Executive Chef with kitchen record keeping and administrative duties including food inventories and ordering
- Organize employee work schedules ensuring appropriate coverage
- Assist in completion of employee schedules and attendance documentation
- Provide ongoing assistance, training, and mentoring to kitchen staff
- Promote a positive and cooperative workplace environment
- Ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to recipe specifications during food production
- Monitor food appearance, temperature, sanitation, and quality standards
- Maintain workplace safety, sanitation, and health standards
- Support Executive Chef in planning and execution of events
- Assist in inventory control and menu planning
- Perform other duties as assigned by Executive Chef
