Job Requirements

  • Culinary degree or certification preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a culinary leadership role
  • Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to handle the physical demands of the job
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations

Job Duties

  • Assist the Executive Chef in the direction and oversight of all culinary operations
  • Create and implement menu selections for special banquet themes and events
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local and company health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
  • Monitor and develop team member performance including supervision, counseling, training, scheduling and recognition
  • Oversee the preparation and production of all hotel meals ensuring food quality and presentation
  • Implement policies and procedures to control costs and promote profitability
  • Maintain high standards of sanitation and safety in the kitchen environment
