Job Requirements

  • Relevant culinary degree or certification preferred
  • Previous experience in a similar kitchen role
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Physical stamina for standing and moving for long periods

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a junior sous chef or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen operations
  • Leadership and supervisory skills
  • Ability to comply with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Excellent communication and team management skills
  • Adaptability and customer focus

Job Duties

  • Prepare, season, cook and test food items for consumption in food and beverage outlets
  • Perform supervisory duties including supervision of line cooks and acting in the absence of the lead chef
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company health, safety, sanitation standards
  • Train, schedule, and assign work to team members
  • Assist with evaluations of team members
