Job Requirements

  • college degree or certification in culinary or hospitality field preferred
  • minimum of 2 years experience in a high-volume kitchen preferably in a hotel or resort setting
  • strong leadership skills
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to manage inventory
  • ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • collaborate with the executive chef to plan staffing and internal procedures
  • complete daily food requisitions and daily specials
  • assist in hiring, training, and coaching kitchen staff
  • contribute to menu development
  • manage kitchen inventory including ordering and receiving products
  • maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • ensure all dishes meet high-quality standards
